T’s & C’s :

Please carefully read through the following information:

Deposits

We require a deposit to secure every booking. They are non refundable and come off the final price of the tattoo, or the final session if you have more than one. They are also required for any custom drawing. This does not however, entitle you to the ownership of a design. All drawings remain the intellectual property of the artist unless specifically commissioned.

Cancelation and postponing your appointment

Once you’ve given the deposit, if you need to change your appointment we require a minimum of ONE WEEK notice before your appointment or you will lose your deposit. If you cancel your appointment you will lose your deposit. You can postpone your appointment once or twice in a row (excluding emergencies), but any more will require you to put down a new deposit.

Your deposit will expire if you leave it pending for over 3 months if you do not make an appointment within that time.

Designs

There is no drawing fee charged (this is factored into the overall price).
Tattoo designs are viewed on the day of the appointment. If you would like to see your design before your appointment please ask and your artist may organise a time for you to come in and do so. If you were to want a complete re-draw of the design, another deposit may be required.  Each artist has their own process with designs therefore it may sometimes not be possible.

Ludo’s designs are finished within a day or two of your appointment and does not send them out. Any changes of ideas or additions MUST be discussed well in advance of your appointment and finalised so she can complete the design as efficiently as possible. If on the day of your appointment you want small changes to be made to the design that is not a problem and can easily be done.

We will always make time to sit with you and go over the design to make sure everything is right and you are 100% happy before we begin.

Before your appointment

For pieces that will take more than a couple of hours it is important to not get drunk or takes drugs before your appointment (this includes the night before).

It is important to drink a lot of water, have a good sleep the night before, and eat a big breakfast the day of your appointment. Your body will be going under a lot of stress and you need to be well rested and fed to keep energy and sugar levels up. Bring something to snack on and drink as this will help keep your sugar levels up. There are sugary drinks and chocolates/lollies here if you need a little top up during the day.

Bringing friends of family

The studio is quite small therefore it is best that you do not bring anyone with you unless a parent or legal guardian is required. It can impact our work and cause a lot of distractions so it’s best that you come alone. If you need a support person that’s absolutely fine, just let us know in advance so we are aware.

Can I bring my children

Please do not bring children into the museum and studio. It is not an appropriate environment for young children. The museum has nudity and documentaries that are not at all appropriate.

Can I pay in instalments

No. A tattoo is a luxury item and it should be a well earned treat for yourself (or a gift). We wouldn’t want any of our clients, or ourselves, to experience any financial trouble because of a tattoo.

The tattoo must be paid in full at the end of the day of the appointment.

Do you have eftpos

The studio can only accept credit/debit cards and has a 2.5% surcharge. Cash or bank transfer is preferred.

How old do I have to be?

You can get tattooed from the age of 16 but ONLY with a parent or legal guardian’s consent. They have to be present at the day of the appointment and we require both I.D’s .

If you are 18 and over you just need to have your I.D with you.

Do you do touch ups?

Yes, we do touch-ups, however, they are not always necessary and most tattoos that are healed well and have no complications, will never require a touch up.

We will do one touch-up for free within six months of the completion of the tattoo. If the tattoo has healed badly as a result of poor aftercare we reserve the right to charge a fee for the touch-up.
